Terms & Conditions – Ticket Buyers

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of tickets sold via TicketPill (the “Platform”), a marketplace for event producers to sell tickets directly to you (“you” or “Ticket Buyer”). By purchasing a ticket through the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use TicketPill.

Platform Overview

TicketPill provides a technology platform that allows independent event producers (“Event Producers”) to create, manage, and sell tickets to their events. TicketPill is not the producer, organizer, or owner of the events listed on the Platform.

On sugarpill.ticketpill.com, the Event Producer is Sugarpill.

All ticket transactions occur between you and the Event Producer, with TicketPill acting solely as a facilitator.

Ticket Purchase Terms

Ticket Validity

Each ticket grants admission to the specific event listed. The Event Producer is solely responsible for honoring all ticket purchases.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed via Stripe. Your payment information is handled securely and never stored by TicketPill.

Currency

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.

Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations

Refund Policy

Refund eligibility is determined by the Event Producer. Some tickets may be non-refundable or only refundable under specific circumstances (e.g., event cancellation). Please get in touch with the Event Producer if you have questions about refunds before purchasing.

TicketPill does not issue refunds directly. To request a refund, you must contact the Event Producer using the contact information provided in your order confirmation or on their TicketPill profile.

Event Cancellations or Changes

The Event Producer may cancel, reschedule, or change event details at their discretion. If an event is canceled or significantly changed, the Event Producer is responsible for notifying you and providing refund or exchange options, if applicable.

Service Fees

TicketPill may charge a service fee per ticket or transaction to support the operation of the Platform. These fees are disclosed during checkout and are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Transferability

Transfer of tickets may or may not be allowed depending and is at the Event Producer’s discretion. Contact the Event Producer for transfer options.

Conduct and Entry Requirements

Your admission to the event is subject to the Event Producer’s rules and policies, including but not limited to:

  • Age restrictions
  • Code of conduct
  • COVID-19 protocols or other health and safety guidelines
  • Identification requirements

Failure to comply may result in denial of entry or removal from the event without a refund.

Limitation of Liability

TicketPill is not liable for:

  • Event quality, safety, logistics, or cancellation
  • Damages resulting from your attendance at an event
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets

TicketPill’s liability is limited to the amount of service fees it has retained for your specific order, if any.

Disputes

Communication and Governance

In the event of a dispute between you and an Event Producer, TicketPill may attempt to facilitate communication but is not obligated to mediate or resolve the issue. Disputes will be governed by the laws of the state of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an issue with your ticket purchase—such as a duplicate charge, unfulfilled order, or event-related concern—you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter directly with the Event Producer If you are unable to resolve the issue with the Event Producer, contact TicketPill at ticketpill.com/support for additional support.

Filing a credit card or bank dispute (also known as a chargeback) without first giving the Event Producer and TicketPill a reasonable opportunity to assist may result in delayed resolution or permanent account restrictions. We are committed to helping you resolve legitimate concerns quickly and fairly.

Privacy

Your information is shared with the Event Producer solely for event management purposes. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.

Event Communications

By purchasing a ticket through TicketPill, you consent to receive communications from the Event Producer related to the event you purchased tickets for. These communications may include event updates, reminders, venue or timing changes, and other relevant logistical or informational messages.

Event Producers are not permitted to use your contact information for unrelated marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt in. If you believe an Event Producer has contacted you inappropriately or abusively, contact TicketPill at ticketpill.com/support.

Modifications to Terms

TicketPill may update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your ticket purchase will apply to that transaction.
